Deep Detox - with Ollie & Mila.

Myself and my girlfriend Mila @thereisnospoon__ have created this course together to share with you a process that has transformed our lives - it’s an experience that will deepen the understanding and connection you have with your body, and will give you a greater sense of self reliance when it comes to your own health and healing.
During these 5 weeks we’ll be looking at a variety of tools, practices & approaches to detoxification that we think are incredibly useful for all of us living in this modern world.
Knowing how to take care of your health is becoming a superpower. And having the knowledge and skillset that allows you to detoxify and cleanse your body when necessary, is a valuable asset to carry with you throughout your life.
This course will teach you to use various tools and practices that facilitate a safe and effective process of cleansing and detoxification. You’ll leave feeling noticeably different in both body & mind, and will have the experience required to feel confident applying these practices whenever you need them in the future.

There are many ways to heal, and many ways to be healthy… but the content of this course has been our way - this experience has transformed our health and the relationship we have with our bodies, profoundly.
During the course we’ll be looking at:
How to use fruits, juices and raw foods to cleanse the digestive and lymphatic systems - you’ll have recipes each week, as well as some structures and plans to explore.
3 different forms of fasting, and how to use them properly (all optional to experiment with during the course).
Various practices and techniques that cleanse and support the organs of elimination and open the pathways of detoxification.
Weekly video classes looking at different systems of the body - so that you can better understand the process of detoxification, as well as how health issues are created, and how to avoid them in the future.
Suggested herbs to support your organ and glandular systems.
Weekly guides and recipes.
Recommended supplements and equipment that will be useful during & after the course.
Suggestions & instructions for the weeks after the course, to help you integrate smoothly back into a more familiar way of eating.
Throughout the course we’ll have:
Weekly group meetings via zoom (6 total) - alternating between Fridays 4:30pm CST and Sundays at 8:30am CST (this way we’re able to accommodate all timezones around the world, they’re all recorded and can be watched when convenient, if you aren’t able to attend some sessions).
A telegram group for us to stay in touch during the course - sharing experiences, reflections, pictures, inspiration, as well as to ask questions and get advice.

You’ll pick up the knowledge and experience you need to be able to continue working with detoxification throughout the rest of your life.
The content of this course will help you create and maintain good digestion, increase your energy levels & mental clarity, improve your quality of sleep, and will hydrate your body at the cellular level.
You’ll also be detoxifying many of the chemicals and susbatnces that contribute to health issues, as explained below in “why detox?”.

You don’t need to have done a detox before, but we will ask you to fill out a questionnaire, so we can get an idea of whether the course will be right for you.

Each week you’ll have the option to choose how deep you go into the detox, so there is some flexibilty there…
But there are foods we are going to ask you to exclude for the duration of the course, and some other suggestions we’ll make, that we highly suggest you follow to ensure you don’t throw your body out of balance, as detoxification is quite a sensitive moment.
The depth you enter into detox will be determined by what feels right for your body & mind, as well as considering your external environment, work, & life commitments.

This is entirely individual, some people find it very easy, and breeze through feeling fantastic, others have more challenges and difficulties to work through.
It all depends on ones health, genetics, past and present lifestyle and diet, as well as other factors like stress, environment, and work commitments.
What we’ve seen, is that regardless of the level of challenge or difficulty, is that everyone is presented the lessons and experiences they need to help them work with their life, and their health, as it is now - giving insight, and providing opportunity for growth, regardless of whether it feels more or less challenging.

Both Mila and I struggled with many health issues over the years, and the contents of this course is the essence of what we’ve used to heal our issues, and issues of many people we’ve worked with.
We can’t make any promises or guarantees about your individual situation, as this is not a medical approach to health.
We have seen these practices help many people with their health issues, but over the space of 5 weeks, we cannot make you any guarantee.
We’re looking at the body in its entirety - identifying root causes, removing accumulated toxicity, and working with interconnected systems, to bring balance and health to the body as a whole, which may happen quickly, or can take more time, depending on the individual.

You certainly can, most of our participants do.
There will be certain practices that you’ll need to work with on your days off, and there may be moments you’re feeling low in energy, but this is a process you can manage whilst working.
That being said, if you have the option to reduce your hours during the course, it can be nice to give yourself more time to rest, relax and turn inward.
Why Detoxify?
Life in the modern world exposes us to a number of toxins that are almost completely unfamiliar to our bodies. The accumulation of these substances within the body contribute to a variety of health problems - from minor issues, to serious health concerns, all of which are becoming ever more common.
During an intentional period of detoxification, we’re taking the time to lessen that toxic load - to cleanse the body of toxicity, restore the digestive system, detoxify the organs, regenerate the glands, and heal other areas of the body that may be damaged or dysfunctional.
We’re looking at the removal of heavy metals, micro plastics, pesticide residues, drug deposits, fungus & parasites, as well as addressing potential blockages in the kidneys, plaquing & calcification throughout the body, stagnant bile in the liver or gallbladder, as well as other areas that may need attention.
It may sound like a lot, but your body takes care of the process - you simply follow the course whilst observing what’s taking place, and learning about what you may or may not need to do it as it’s happening.
Detoxification is predominantly a catabolic (breaking down) state - this is a time for the body to purge waste & accumulated toxicity, whilst also getting rid of damaged tissue & dysfunctional cells.
This process creates the conditions for renewal & repair - and exiting the detox, you’ll experience the effects as you return to a diet focused on maintenance/building.
At the end of the course we cover these two topics - looking at how to eat after the course to rebuild properly, ensuring the body gets everything it needs in your day to day diet.
The approaches we look at are mostly physical practices, but these physical practices take us into more subtle parts of ourselves too - often getting insight into the mind and emotions, how we interface with life, and relate to the people around us. The benefits go far beyond just the physical.
